Who is responsible for your information?
Mulwedi is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, access requests or corrections, contact enquiry@mulwedi.co.za or 071 108 5909.
What we collect
Depending on what you use, we may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, selected service, enquiry message, referral application details, account details, billing details, order details and information needed to prepare an application. The site may also process basic technical information such as an IP address, browser information and essential cookies.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare and manage services, process orders, operate customer and referral accounts, send activation messages, prevent abuse, keep records and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Payment information
Do not send card numbers, CVV numbers, passwords or banking passwords through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp. The public website is currently for service enquiries and does not take payment through checkout. If a payment method is agreed separately for a service, Mulwedi will confirm the payment instructions before work begins. Mulwedi does not need your card number or CVV to respond to an enquiry.
Who may process it
Information may be processed by the website host, email provider, WordPress/WooCommerce services, payment providers and other service providers needed to operate the website. We may share information where you instruct us to prepare an official application or where the law requires it. We ask service providers to handle information only for the agreed purpose.
Keeping it accurate and secure
Please give accurate information and tell us when it changes. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, access controls and limited data collection. No online system can guarantee that loss, misuse or unauthorised access will never occur.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, an active customer or referral relationship, dispute handling, security or a legal and accounting requirement. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction, ask for deletion where legally permitted, withdraw consent for consent-based processing and object to certain uses. Contact us using the details above. You may also contact the South African Information Regulator through its official website if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully. Forms, documents and referrals
The public enquiry form is for a short request only. Do not upload identity documents or confidential records there. Referral applicants provide only the information needed to create and activate a referral profile. Activation links expire, and referral codes may be recorded against enquiries or orders for tracking.
Cookies and changes
The public website may use essential WordPress cookies for basic site operation and security. Referral links may use an essential referral cookie for a limited period. We do not add advertising cookies through this theme. We may update this notice when the website or its services change.
